Prediction of the Saturated Liquid and Vapor Densities of Normal Heptane Near the Critical Point

Abstract

In the present work, the saturated liquid and vapor densities of normal heptane are investigated based on a previously formulated global equation of state in the vicinity of the critical point. In particular, a crossover thermodynamic potential is used to represent accurately the liquid and the vapor experimental data of normal heptane reported by Abdulagatov and co-workers and those measured by Artyukhovskaya and coworkers as well as for information purposes for those generated from NIST REFPROP package.
